Dalhousie student accused of murder has second day of bail hearing

The bail hearing for a Dalhousie University student accused of murdering a fellow scholar continued today at the Law Courts on Upper Water Street.
The accused, William Michael Sandeson, was visibly upset as the defence called two witnesses to the stand. Sandeson is charged with first-degree murder in the disappearance of Taylor Samson.
Justice Jamie Campbell has issued a publication ban for the hearing, which began Wednesday.
Closing arguments are scheduled for Oct. 23 at 9:00 a.m., with Campbell’s bail decision expected by 4:00 p.m.
