Nova Scotia reports 22 new cases of COVID-19

No new cases at East Cumberland Lodge

Nova Scotia reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, keeping the known active case total at 236.

Of the new cases, there are 12 cases in Central Zone, seven cases in Western Zone and three cases in the Northern Zone.

There are 17 people in hospital, including seven in intensive care.

There are no new cases of COVID at East Cumberland Lodge, the long-term care facility affected by the faith-based gathering in late October. A total of 31 residents and 10 staff members at the home have tested positive and two have died.
