Crews remove statue of Halifax founder on Wednesday

Workers are taking down the statue of Edward Cornwallis, a day after regional council voted to remove it immediately.

Crews started working on the statue in Cornwallis Park on Wednesday morning. By 1 p.m. the name plate was removed.
