Finding footing in the post-holiday lull
Small businesses are finding ways to keep their stores open during the post-holiday season.

The cold and dreary days of the winter months have forced Shauna MacLean, co-owner of Humble Pie, to make some changes. On January 1st the small shop in Dartmouth changed their hours to accommodate for the lack of foot traffic this time of year. It’s a decision MacLean didn’t make lightly because it affects not only her customers, but also her employees.
