Navy remembrance service at Point Pleasant Park

Current navy personnel, veterans and members of the public gathered in Point Pleasant Park to remember the sacrifices of past generations

Members of the naval community in Halifax joined together in Point Pleasant Park to mark the 97th anniversary of the First World War and to remember those that have given so much to preserve the freedom we enjoy today. Under leaden skies and with the wind howling in from the North Atlantic, wreaths were placed and prayers recited to salute their sacrifices.
