Harbourview, Burnside and Dartmouth-East haven’t had a councillor in three months.

That changed today, as Tony Mancini was sworn in as new city councillor.

Mancini fills the vacant seat left by Darren Fisher, who was elected as Liberal MP last year in the federal election. Mancini takes his seat as councillor for District 6.

Signal TV reporter Sean Mott was there for the swearing in, which offered plenty of ceremonial pomp, but also a few laughs.
