Students in The Signal’s video workshop produced several pieces this week, including Saint Mary’s football, a Jagmeet & Greet in Halifax and a regional cocktail competition.

Tundé Balogan captured the Saint Mary’s Huskies’ final practice before the AUS football final. The final, commonly known as the Loney Bowl, was reinstated over the weekend in a whirlwind court decision.

The new leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party was in town over the weekend. Jagmeet Singh visited a bar in Halifax’s north end for a “JagMeet & Greet.” Patrick Laba caught that event.

A proposed project aims to make cyclists feel safer and get more people in the saddle. Silas Brown went to a public engagement session hosted by Halifax’s Active Transportation program to learn more.

Ross Andersen, Lothian Taylor and Yuqian Li each visited a different Remembrance Day ceremony across the Halifax Regional Municipality on Saturday to capture the sights and sounds.
